Small pork price-fixing settlement


 

A federal judge has granted preliminary approval to settlements between Seaboard Foods and a class of pork buyers in an antitrust lawsuit.

Minnesota judge John R. Tunheim gave initial approval to the $10 million settlement between the company and the Consumer Indirect Purchaser Plaintiffs, bringing the  grand total to $109.465 million in settlements with processors.
